Trial for Alleged Jan. 6 Pipe Bomber Set for February
Tyunews.com – A Virginia-based individual, Brian Cole Jr., is scheduled to face trial in February, as revealed by a federal judge during a recent court session. U.S. District Judge Amir Ali determined the trial will commence on February 16, following a request from Cole’s legal representatives. The defense highlighted the government’s disclosure of extensive evidence gathered over a five-year investigation into the placement of the pipe bombs.
Cole has maintained his innocence in the case. The prosecution and his attorneys indicated that the trial might last up to two weeks. Both sides are expected to return to court on September 10 for a status review.
